Te Whare Tapere is a Māori-led arts space dedicated to celebrating and supporting Ngā Toi Māori and ringatoi Māori in Ōtautahi. It provides a platform where both tuakana and tēina artists can share their mahi, nurturing creativity, whakawhanaungatanga, and the intergenerational sharing of mātauranga.
Through exhibitions, performances, movement, wānanga and kōrero, Te Whare Tapere is a living whare for Māori creative expression—a place where toi is practised, stories are shared, and relationships are strengthened.
Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whare Tapere.
